Dec. 10th, 2012 09:41 amCHARACTER NAME: Vanellope von Schweetz
CHARACTER CANON: Wreck-It Ralph
[OOC]
Backtagging: Yes! It's fun~
Threadhopping: I have no problems with it.
Fourthwalling: They do a pretty decent amount of fourthwalling in her canon, so if you really want to fourthwall, Vanellope won't be too brainbroken by it.
Offensive Subjects: My general attitude towards this stuff is "Shit happens and I can deal with it" but if it gets to be too squicky and I can't deal, I'll let you know ASAP. Basically just go with whatever would be IC for y'all and I'll do the same.
[IC]
Hugging this character: Vanellope likes hugs. Go for it.
Kissing this character: She's nine years old, guys. Keep it platonic.
Flirting with this character: If by flirting you mean the little-kid pick-on-the-person you like stuff... go for it.
Fighting with this character: If a fight happens, it happens. But don't be surprised if she glitches all over the place and tries to kick your shins or throw food at you and so on.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Sob my precious baby - well, this is a horror game, I can't say I think she should be totally unscathed. Just... you do what IC and I'll do what's IC.
Killing this character: sob she'll probably annoy one of the more volatile characters into doing it sooner or later... Death is a part of the game and it's something that can happen in Vanellope's canon (they just regenerate anyway!) sooo, go for it.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Go for it, but good luck picking out her thoughts through all the ones and zeroes of her code. I mean-- Just go for it. XD
[Opt-In/Opt-Out]
Okay, here's the part where y'all can actually comment!
First of all - I understand that not everyone's seen Wreck-It Ralph. By virtue of the canon point I took Vanellope from (near the end of the movie), some spoilers are likely when interacting with her.
If you'd like me to avoid tagging with you until you've seen the movie (or at all), please let me know! Alternatively, if you'd like me to tag with you but just not mention anything you don't see past the first 30 minutes or so of the movie/avoid as many spoilers as possible, go ahead and let me know that too.
Or if you'd just like me to avoid tagging with you because Vanellope's an annoying little brat, well, I sure can't hold that against you. XD Again, just let me know.
Finally - Vanellope's glitching. Most people won't be affected by it (the two characters in her canon who were, were video game characters like her) seeing as they're flesh-and-blood human beings.
But mechanical/robotic characters (KOS-MOS, etc) might if they come into contact with her while she's glitching.
So, if you're okay with her glitching possibly affecting your character, let me know here!
Alternatively, if you want your nonmechanical character to be affected by her glitching (or if you want your character's mechanical objects/companions/what-have-you to be affected by it), let me know here as well. In the case of human beings being affected by it in some way, it might be helpful if we plotted out why it'd work on them! (Like, is some form of magic they use possibly interfered with by rouge coding or something? IDK man)
Sooooo yeah. Anything you do/don't want me to do, let me know about it!
